Customer Service Associate

Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a FT Counter Sales/Customer sales role. The position serves as a key customer touchpoint, responsible for accurate order entry and smooth customer interactions. It requires strong multitasking skills, including processing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating logistics to support delivery timelines. This full‑time role includes a four‑day workweek, including Saturday during spring and summer, with the option for a five‑day workweek during peak seasons.

• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with clients through phone, email, and in‑person consultations, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Accurately process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company’s computer system to ensure efficient and precise order fulfillment.
• Contribute to inventory management by participating in cycle counts.
• Collaborate with management and team members to communicate customer needs and special order material requests, enhancing product offerings and service delivery.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and sales team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
• Perform a mix of sales counter duties and various other tasks, supported by modern sales systems and a commitment to maintaining an organized workspace.

• Prior experience in a customer service or sales role is preferred, with a focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations and internet navigation.
• Experience or familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and order entry procedures.
• Ability to work in varied conditions, including outdoor environments.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed during the peak season.
• Capability to pass a pre‑employment background/drug test.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Previous experience with irrigation or landscaping products.

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors, including the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs, performance‑based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
