EXPERIENCED INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER – HARD & SOFT GOODS, LUGGAGE & BAGS
Ricardo Beverly Hills is seeking a talented and creative Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative design, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the latest trends in design and travel. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing luggage and travel bags that align with our brand's aesthetic and quality standards.
This is a full-time in-person position based in our Algona, WA office.

BASICQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- 3–8 years of Industrial Design experience developing hard goods and soft goods for consumer products.
- Passion for designing innovative consumer products from concept through production.
- Ability to rapidly ideate, and work independently while clearly communicating concepts that translate into successful products from initial sketches through pre-production stage.
- Proficiency in creating high-quality product renderings and visual presentations that effectively communicate design intent.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and CAD/3D modeling software such as Keyshot, Rhino, Fusion 360, or equivalent.
- Experience utilizing AI-powered design and productivity tools such as Midjourney, Vizcom, or similar platforms to accelerate concept generation, research, trend/mood boards.
- Sensitivity to color selection, shade matching, material selection, texture, and print/pattern development.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Advanced English proficiency with clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Create compelling product solutions utilizing existing and new materials.
- Execute detailed tech packs, BOMs, and sample requests for factory handoff.
- Communicate daily with overseas development and factory partners in a clear manner.
- Research market and industry trends, participate in field research, and develop presentations.
- Contribute to product design briefs/direction alongside the management team.
- Actively learn and continually improve upon operational and manufacturing processes.
- Travel to Asia (up to 2x per year) to work directly with factories and suppliers. Occasional domestic travel for trade shows and field research.
