Our architecture firm is seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Washington, USA. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while ensuring compliance with conservation regulations.

• Conduct thorough research on the historical significance and architectural style of buildings and structures
• Develop preservation plans and proposals for restoration projects
• Oversee construction projects to ensure preservation guidelines are followed
• Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to implement preservation plans
• Conduct field surveys and assessments of existing buildings to determine necessary repairs or maintenance
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for restoration work
• Provide guidance on appropriate materials and techniques for restoration projects
• Collaborate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits for restoration work
• Monitor budget and schedule for restoration projects

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software
• In-depth knowledge of preservation techniques, materials, and regulations
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
