We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Preservation Architect to join our team in Washington As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while adhering to local and national preservation standards This position is ideal for a fresh graduate or someone with limited experience in the field No English language skills are required for this role however proficiency in Malayalam is preferred
Requirements- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation
- Knowledge of local and national preservation laws and standards
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in Malayalam
- English proficiency is a plus
- Prior experience or internships in historic preservation is preferred but not required
Salary $1400 per month negotiable based on experience
Location Washington accommodation not provided
As an Entry-Level Preservation Architect you will work closely with senior architects and project managers on various restoration projects
Your responsibilities- conducting site visits
- creating preservation plans
- preparing reports
- collaborating with contractors and other stakeholders involved in the project
