Position: Occupational Therapist School Setting in Auburn, WA
Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity supporting students for the  school year in a dynamic educational environment near Auburn, WA. This contract-based position is ideal for Occupational Therapists (OT) experienced in school-based settings. Your expertise will play a key role in helping students reach their full potential, enhancing their academic experience from the start of the assignment through the end of the school year (ASAP-EOSY).

What You'll Do:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement therapy strategies within the classroom environment.
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills essential for educational participation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment sessions in accordance with school and state requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff training sessions as needed.
• Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques and adapt interventions for diverse learning abilities and backgrounds.
• Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and positive school culture for students and staff alike.

What We're Looking for:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State.
• Previous experience in a school setting, particularly working with K-12 students.
• Knowledge of IEP process, special education laws, and best practices in pediatric therapy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Enthusiasm for making an impact in students' educational journeys.
