Provide comprehensive support for Continuing Education, GED preparation, and others programs by creating an inclusive learning environment for adult learners through differentiated instruction and student-centered coaching. Develop instructional materials, facilitate workshops, and coordinate educational events, orientations, and community outreach initiatives to promote student engagement and success. Guide prospective and enrolled students in educational planning, career exploration, and academic pathways while supporting student entry, retention, transition, and graduation.
Collaborate with the Adult and Higher Education teams, as well as community partners, colleges, and universities, to strengthen educational opportunities and support special initiatives. Manage program data, monitor outcomes, prepare reports, maintain stakeholder relationships, and provide responsive customer service while supporting program operations, and ensuring the successful execution of educational programs and events.

Program Development
Plans and implements culturally relevant curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs for student audiences within areas of expertise.Thoughtfully plans and implements specific strategies to meet the needs of all students, providing extra support, accommodations, or modification of curriculum when necessary.Implements established program objectives; instructs students in face-to-face classes, as well as virtual classes.Assists students in preparing for Adult Basic Education assessments, provides instruction ad support, reviews and discusses results with student; determines if any additional instruction needed.Communication and Collaboration
Works, in partnership, with other Tribal departments to offer culturally relevant workshops.Position will include community outreach efforts that Inform and promote program offerings to staff, potential students, community partners, Tribal officials, and outside organizations.Works closely with educational partners to monitor student progress, outcomes, and to advise/implement culturally relevant courses/assignments.Participates in a variety of meetings, workshops, and committees for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions and maintaining professional knowledge. Seek student feedback through participation in individual and departmental evaluation processes.Provide responsive quality customer service in-person and online, over the phone, and via email to prospective and continuing students, faculty, staff, and the general public, related to Testing, Continuing Education, trainings in Adult and Higher Education.Actively listen and exercise independent judgment and critical thinking skills to determine the needs of students and others served.Creates, Maintains and operates student records, implements Laser fiche. Maintains student records and produces reports for management.Teamwork
Participates in annual preliminary budget proposal and preparation and in long-range comprehensive planning projects.Coach, mentor, and train staff as necessary. Approach conflict-resolution in an open, fair and professional manner.Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of youth-centered initiatives, such as Native Career Day and the Early College Program, ensuring effective logistics, stakeholder collaboration, and culturally responsive programming that supports youth engagement, college readiness, and career exploration.Departmental Functions
