Mechanical Project Engineer - HVAC

Pay: $60,000 - $75,000 Salary, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Hours: 8-hour shift between 5:00am to 4:00pm

Location: Emerald Aire, Inc. | Auburn WA

• Involved with all facets of the project, from upfront coordination during the design process through execution and close out.
• A large portion of the position involves office‑related support to our Field in order to make the installation as efficient as possible.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and other team members.
• Review submittals for completeness and compliance with drawings.
• Process submittals and keep project team apprised of schedule needs.
• Work closely with Project Manager, Engineering, and Field Leads through the duration of the project.
• RFI's: review, write, log, submit and track.
• Understand scope of design change documents.
• File project documentation.
• Understand schedule needs of the project and communicate such with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assemble O&M manuals.
• Job site visits to ensure projects are on track, about once per month.

• Construction Management or Engineering degree is a plus, but not required.
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn.
