Equipment & Tool Engineer-Asset Integration & System Engineering

Position Type:
Full-Time Contract

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Location:

Auburn, WA-onsite

As an Equipment & Tool Engineer, you will:

Evaluate program and project requirements, develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions for the Production System.
Compile and analyze technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design, usability, and rate estimates.
Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
Develop and release bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.
Troubleshoot current production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.
Develop and implement workarounds and maintain configuration of hardware and documentation.
Perform studies and make recommendations for disposition of assets.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (ABET is a preferred, although not required, accreditation standard) and 5 or more years related engineering work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master's degree + 3 years work experience)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3 or more years of project management experience supporting complex technical projects, evaluating/selecting equipment solutions, and assessing spare parts inventory in a production environment
2 or more years of experience working with hardware, software, and documentation configuration management
3 or more years of experience working to industry standards including compliance with hardware and safety codes
Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range : $60-$64 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
