Professional Engineer (Civil/Structural)
Oldcastle Infrastructure is currently seeking a Professional Engineer with an emphasis in Civil / Structural Engineering. This position will involve performing engineering designs in support of estimates, submittal packages and production of precast products.
Job Location:
This position will be on site at our Auburn, WA or Wilsonville, OR facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Leadership and CAD Operators in support of sales and production
- Support installation of engineered products in assigned region
- Work on various engineering projects in support of sales as well as continuous improvements in manufacturing, process, shipping, handling, and installation
- Prepare calculations and drawings for precast products
- Work with the Quality Control Department to ensure precast products are manufactured in accordance with Oldcastle's Quality Control Program
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer, or able to obtain within 6 months
- Previous experience in concrete design / precast design (preferred) – other structural disciplines acceptable
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, and be able to perform structural concrete designs
- Ability to use a variety of software programs, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Products, MathCAD, SAP
2000 - Organization and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative
- Ability to interact with customers, managers, engineers, drafters, and other employees to resolve engineering and management related issue
Job Compensation:
Base salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 per year 10% Annual bonus opportunity Vacation hours of two weeks per year Sick leave benefits up to 56 hours per annum 401k plan Short-Term and Long-Term Disability benefits Eleven paid holidays per year Annual Community Volunteer paid day
