Summary

The Pricing Specialist plays a critical role in managing strategic pricing operations to ensure accurate data entry, regulatory compliance, and seamless coordination between Commercial Finance and Sales Execution teams. This position is responsible for analyzing pricing strategies, maintaining pricing systems, and supporting revenue optimization initiatives. Acting as a key liaison across departments, the Pricing Specialist drives operational excellence, enhances pricing accuracy, and contributes to achieving business objectives through proactive execution and process improvement.

  • Process Pricing Updates:
    Review and enter pricing changes in Vistaar and ERP systems, ensuring compliance with state laws and company policies; expedite discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure Data Accuracy:
    Maintain consistent, accurate pricing data to support sales teams and external stakeholders.
  • Activate New Items:
    Set up new products with complete, compliant data (costs, taxes) and activate pricing to ensure timely sales readiness and minimize delays.
  • Manage Data Integrity:
    Perform ongoing data cleanup, deal lifecycle management, and removal of discontinued items to maintain system accuracy.
  • Administer Pricing Engine:
    Manage Vistaar functions, including price groups, deal tags, and sub‑brand adjustments, ensuring smooth operational transitions.
  • Review Overrides & Credits:
    Evaluate pricing overrides and credit requests for policy compliance; reconcile depletion allowances and address unresolved issues.
  • Support Supplier Operations:
    Assist with onboarding new supplier items and deals; decommission discontinued products across systems to prevent future purchase activity.
  • Compile Billing Data:
    Gather and process month‑end billing data for invoicing and reconciliation; generate reports using Power Query and publish accurate Excel summaries.
What you bring to RNDC
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
  • Minimum 3+ years of related experience, ideally in pricing, finance, or sales operations.
  • Previous experience in the Wine & Spirits industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to perform basic calculations, understand cost structures, and identify gross profit leakage.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems, Vistaar, and Micro Strategy; ability to learn new software and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Understanding of ERP data integrity and pricing systems.
  • Knowledge of RNDC ERPs, Vistaar, and Micro Strategy preferred.
  • Physical ability to sit, use hands, reach, and communicate effectively.
  • Occasional lifting or moving up to 10 lbs; vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Vistaar, Micro Strategy, RNDC ERP systems.
