About the Role
Engage clients and prospects in financial reviews, provide solutions, make recommendations, follow through commitments, maintain direct contact with clients, and deliver outstanding service aligned with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards. Serve as the primary associate in the branch to open new deposit accounts, originate consumer and small business loans, build and maintain a loan and deposit portfolio, educate customers about services such as Treasury Management, perform proactive outbound calls, partner with the branch manager for community business development meetings, develop a pipeline of prospects, resolve client issues with digital products and services, and support community events including volunteerism and sponsorship.
Responsibilities- Engage clients in financial reviews and uncover additional financial needs.
- Open new deposit accounts and originate consumer loans.
- Develop and maintain a loan and deposit portfolio.
- Educate customers about in‑house services such as Treasury Management.
- Perform proactive outbound phone calls to consumers and small businesses.
- Partner with the branch manager for community business development meetings.
- Develop pipeline of prospects from in‑branch and outbound activities.
- Support and resolve client issues with digital products and services.
- Participate in community events and sponsor ships.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2years of banking and/or sales experience.
- Minimum of 2years building client relationships and achieving sales goals in a banking or retail environment.
- Minimum of 2years in a lending function with loan origination and processing.
- In‑depth knowledge of Consumer and Business products and services.
- Proficiency in consumer and business lending, including understanding of cash flow, financial statements, and market risk.
- Desire and ability to build technology skills across online banking, Bill Pay, E‑Statements, mobile banking, ATM, and business banking applications.
- May act as a Bank MLO for open‑end transactions (home equity lines of credit) and must register as an MLO complying with SAFE Act requirements.
Pay range: $25.00 – $29.00 per hour. Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation. Pay rate determined by job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location.
