As a Clinical Supervisor
, you will oversee the daily operations of our Auburn cardiology clinic. This leadership role is responsible for supervising clinic staff, optimizing workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving performance in patient experience, provider engagement, and operational efficiency. You’ll partner with directors, managers, providers, and staff to align daily practice with broader strategic goals.
- Lead and support clinic operations to meet performance benchmarks and deliver outstanding care.
- Oversee patient scheduling, staff timecards, and clinic coverage planning.
- Resolve patient concerns using service recovery techniques and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Mentor and develop clinical and administrative team members, promoting staff engagement and growth.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify strategic initiatives and implement clinic‑based improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations, including infection prevention and emergency preparedness.
- Support organizational culture through active communication, collaboration, and role modeling.
This is a full‑time, exempt, onsite position based out of our Auburn cardiology clinic. The role requires frequent in‑person interactions with staff and providers, moderate office‑based responsibilities, and occasional travel between local clinic sites.
Experience & QualificationsMust‑Haves:
- 3+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations with leadership or supervisory responsibility
- Strong understanding of ambulatory operations, staffing, and basic healthcare finance
- Experience managing teams, resolving conflict, and driving performance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard clinic systems
Nice‑to‑Haves:
- Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in cardiology or specialty care
- Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Background in revenue cycle optimization or performance improvement
