A school district in Auburn, Washington is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a fulltime, school based contract
. This position serves K12 students and focuses on assessment, intervention, and collaboration to support academic achievement and social emotional development. Candidates who are collaborative, detail oriented, and committed to student success are encouraged to apply.
- Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments to evaluate academic, cognitive, and social emotional functioning
- Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, compliant written evaluation reports
- Participate in IEP meetings
, eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary team discussions - Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs
- Support the development and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Assist with MTSS, early intervention, and school-based mental health initiatives as applicable
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support a safe, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment
- Active Washington School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and district clearances
- Licensing and credentialing support may be available for eligible candidates
- Master's degree, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Prior school-based experience preferred
- New graduates with appropriate credentials and internship experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong assessment, data interpretation, and report-writing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Approximately 3740 hours per week
