** Position Summary
** The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) is an integral part of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) office team working under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. Work situations require performance of safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the MA-C. The MA-C has continuous contact with physicians, APPs, nurses, front office staff, patients and their families/caregivers.
** Responsibilities:
*** Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include:  + Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff  + Interviewing patients  + Obtaining vital signs  + Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments  + Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture  + Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency  + Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers
* Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include:  + Sending and receiving of patient medical records  + Facilitating patient referrals  + Preparing forms for patients
** Requirements:
*** Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
* Current BLS certification

** Pay and Benefit Expectations
** We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.83 - $35.71 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
