Are you passionate about supporting infants, young children, and their caregivers during some of the most important developmental years?
Circle Creek Therapy is looking for a compassionate and skilled Infant and Early Childhood Therapist to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide developmentally appropriate, relationship-based mental health services to infants and young children from birth through age six, as well as their families and caregivers.
This position is a great fit for a therapist who values family-centered care, understands the importance of attachment and early relationships, and enjoys working alongside professionals from multiple disciplines to support the whole child.
Services will be provided in our outpatient pediatric clinic in Auburn, Washington.
What You’ll DoAs an Infant and Early Childhood Therapist, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive developmental, behavioral, and mental health assessments.
- Provide individual, family, dyadic parent-child, and caregiver-child therapy.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor client progress.
- Utilize evidence-based practices such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Circle of Security, or other infant mental health interventions.
- Support caregivers in strengthening attachment, emotional regulation, and parenting skills.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, early intervention providers, schools, child welfare agencies, and other community partners.
- Maintain timely clinical documentation, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals when appropriate.
- Promote culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and family-centered care.

Eligibility for specific benefits may vary depending on the number of hours regularly worked.
Who You AreRequired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Current state licensure or license eligibility (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Experience working with infants, young children, and families.
- Knowledge of child development, attachment theory, and early childhood mental health.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Infant Mental Health endorsement or eligibility.
- Training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), or other evidence-based early childhood interventions.
- Experience working with trauma, foster care, child welfare, or early intervention programs.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
- Understanding of infant and early childhood development.
- Ability to engage families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making skills.
