Position Overview
The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First Line Procurement Manager to lead the Secondary Structures Contracts team in Auburn, Washington or Everett, Washington. The manager will oversee procurement agents, coordinate with engineering, finance, quality, operations, and suppliers, and ensure all contracts for approximately 30 secondary structure suppliers are established and maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Manages Procurement Agent employees performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, bid packages, proposal analysis, and contract development.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
- Manages, develops, and motivates employees.
Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment is required. Failure to complete the assessment will remove the applicant from consideration.
Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of experience within Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement contracting.
- 5+ years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong ongoing communication with customers, suppliers, and vendors.
- 5+ years of experience in negotiation and contracting processes.
- At least one year of leadership experience (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) or completion of Boeing's internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing teams and projects.
- Position is 100% onsite; the selected candidate will work at one of the listed location options.
- Must satisfy Boeing’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Base pay and variable compensation opportunities are included. Pay range (LevelK):
Auburn, WA –$122,400–$150,500;
