Responsibilities- Accurately remove and stock product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan
- Accurately select product to fill customer orders and package them properly
- Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded
- Pick, process and pack orders, and may cut orders on the Kaltenbach saw
- Cycle counts
- Identify, hold and segregate defective material
- Complete paperwork per work instructions, when required
- Perform general clean up
- Inspect forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to supervisor or designated personnel
- Participate, support and comply with health, safety, quality, ISO and 6S initiatives, compliance and Lean initiatives, requirements and/or training
- Assist in other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead
- Train others when required

QualificationsMinimum Requirements
:
- This is a Safety Sensitive role; candidates should be safety-oriented
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English and perform basic math
- High school diploma/GED
- History of consistent dependable attendance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs; sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions
Preferred Requirements:
- Use of handheld measuring tools
- Basic computer skills (database programs and Microsoft Office)
- LEAN and/or Quality Control experience
- 5 years of warehousing experience, especially in the metals industry
- Shipping experience
- Previous forklift experience
Compensation: $21.50 per hour (range $21.50 - $23.00).
