• Accurately remove and stock product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan
• Accurately select product to fill customer orders and package them properly
• Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded
• Pick, process and pack orders, and may cut orders on the Kaltenbach saw
• Cycle counts
• Identify, hold and segregate defective material
• Complete paperwork per work instructions, when required
• Perform general clean up
• Inspect forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to supervisor or designated personnel
• Participate, support and comply with health, safety, quality, ISO and 6S initiatives, compliance and Lean initiatives, requirements and/or training
• Assist in other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead
• Train others when required

Minimum Requirements
:

• This is a Safety Sensitive role; candidates should be safety-oriented
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English and perform basic math
• High school diploma/GED
• History of consistent dependable attendance
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs; sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions

Preferred Requirements:

• Use of handheld measuring tools
• Basic computer skills (database programs and Microsoft Office)
• LEAN and/or Quality Control experience
• 5 years of warehousing experience, especially in the metals industry
• Shipping experience
• Previous forklift experience

Compensation: $21.50 per hour (range $21.50 - $23.00).
