Quality Inspector; Day Shift

A&G Machine is seeking a Quality Inspector with at least 3 years of experience in aerospace. We are a private, family-oriented company with over 40 years of sustained successful operations, retaining the best talent in the industry.

• Perform in-process inspections using a variety of equipment.
• Perform dimensional inspection on features and record the information on AS9102 form 3 FAI.
• Surface plate inspection using a wide range of precision hand tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges, Bore gauges).
• Maintain a working knowledge of quality standards, part inspection, and preservation methods, and stay abreast of new technologies and inspection methods.

• Basic math skills and high attention to detail.
• Minimum of 3 years in aerospace inspection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communications skills in a leadership capacity, managing and working well with others.
• Be able to maintain and organized for a clean work environment.
• Strong back ground in GD&T.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret Aerospace drawings and specifications.
• Ability to do surface plate inspection using a wide range of precision hand tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges, Bore gauges).

• Required to push, pull, lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Work around moving objects, and with machinery with moving parts.

• Work performed in a combination of shop and office environments.
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.

Full-time, In person

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
