A maintenance technician will perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment, ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently, read diagrams and manuals, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and support upgrades and modifications.
Job Responsibilities- Preform preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and determine corrective actions using schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
- Install, assemble, test, and inspect machinery and equipment
- Repair or replace defective components such as motors, drives, belts, bearing, sensors, and PLC‑related devices
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance instruments safely and effectively
- Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and fabrication projects
- Maintain maintenance records and follow established safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements
- Assist in maintaining plant facilities, structures, and utilities
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Experience with:
- PLC troubleshooting
- Electrical systems
- Motors and drives
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Working in indoor or outdoor manufacturing environments
- The hourly pay rate is $28–$34/hr.
