CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong machining experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines based on blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Work with CNC lathes, grinders, multi-axis mills, and similar equipment
• Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and machine accessories
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify dimensions and quality
• Identify machining issues and adjust machine settings to maintain tolerance standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Support training and mentoring of junior machinists and program participants
• Model strong work ethic, safety practices, and teamwork

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
• Experience operating CNC Mills (Haas experience preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience using precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong math, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Preferred Qualifications
• Completion of a CNC training or manufacturing program
• Aerospace manufacturing experience
• Experience training or mentoring others in a production environment
