JOB DETAILS

Shift: Swing Shift, Monday‑Thursday, 2:30 pm - 1:00 am, plus overtime based on production needs.

The Production Associate 1 role is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. This position requires working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands.

• Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window units
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks
• Must cross‑train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex.
• Movement of carts in and out of production work area
• Loading window sash components for processing insulated glass units
• Assembly of vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass unit
• Offloading insulated glass units to carts
• Final loading of window units into trucks
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning
• Ensures overall quality of work produced by performing quality audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concern

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shift.
• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32.”
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Able to convert fractions to decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions.
• Capable of using computerized equipment.
• Ability to move carts in and out of production areas.

The US pay for this full‑time position is $21.50 per hour + $1.50 per hour shift differential for Swing Shift, plus medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1, 401(k) and PTO. (Full‑time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week. Union programs may vary depending on the collective bargaining agreement.)
