Description
Performance and operations supervision position focused on setting and enforcing goals and metrics for each department in consultation with shift supervisors and Operations Manager.
Shift: Weekend Shift, Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Set and enforce goals and metrics for each department in consultation with shift supervisors and Operations Manager.
- Manage employee and program participant performance for swing shift.
- Handle scheduling, staffing and labor planning duties with consultation with shift supervisors and Operations Manager to include approval of time cards and PTO requests in Paylocity.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards for all employees and program participants working on the stated shift.
- Escalate major issues immediately to other supervisors and Operations Manager.
- Conduct hiring and termination responsibilities in coordination with Human Resources.
- Conduct performance and disciplinary actions for supervised employees as needed and scheduled.
- Coordinate machine and tool maintenance with maintenance department.
- Schedule and conduct performance evaluations for employees as required.
- Ensure mentors complete program participant evaluations on time.

Qualifications- Supervisory skills.
- Manufacturing experience in one or more of the listed departments.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Organizational ability.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collectively.
- The ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.

- Frequent use of hands and fingers to reach, manipulate, handle, and hold material.

- Frequent use of speaking ability to express or exchange ideas, communicate detailed information, or convey instructions.
- Frequent lifting of 5 or 10 pounds, with occasional lifting to 35 pounds.
- Exposure to manufacturing shop floor, requiring use of Safety Glasses.
- Exposure to excess noise levels, necessitating the use of Hearing Protection.
