As part of our recent growth, we are seeking an experienced Racker to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare aluminum parts for alodine/anodizing chemical processing by placing parts on racks and or baskets according to their size and shape.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Select racks/baskets according to size, shape, and number of objects to be processed.
- Verify paperwork, then count parts prior to racking and count again upon completion of chemical treatment processes to ensure accuracy.
- Place parts on racks with wire or clips according to customer requirements as indicated on work instructions.
- Remove parts from racks.
- Perform visual inspection to verify finish is in compliance with specifications.
- Complete required documentation.
- Transport parts to next area.
- Handle hazardous materials safely while wearing appropriate safety attire.
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
- Follow work rules and standard safety regulations at all times.
- Ability to use a computer for basic functions in a Windows environment.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and ability to apply basic mathematical skills to the work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented, and ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities and communication styles.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Education/Experience• High school Diploma/GED
