Manufacturing Engineer (Mid-Level / Senior Level)
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support fabrication and production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for process improvement, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
This role requires a hands-on professional who enjoys working closely with production teams, supporting shop floor operations, and driving improvements to manufacturing processes. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for leading process enhancement initiatives, developing and improving work instructions, and implementing process changes across multiple teams. Success in this role requires a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Experience with project management, root cause analysis, and machining operations is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
- Develop, identify, and implement manufacturing process improvements and conceptual production designs.
- Lead the development and execution of manufacturing plans.
- Conduct producibility and process capability analyses to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
- Support project planning activities by providing manufacturability and producibility inputs.
- Evaluate design and build concepts to ensure efficient and cost-effective production.
- Resolve technical issues impacting product quality, cost, schedule, or performance.
- Coordinate the implementation of new engineering principles, technologies, and manufacturing concepts.
- Validate production readiness and support the deployment of solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, fabrication, or industrial environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing setting.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience supporting machining operations and manufacturing process optimization.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
