Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Creative Brand Manager owns and evolves Puget Systems' visual identity across all touchpoints (digital and physical, internal and external), ensuring that everything we produce reflects our values, technical credibility, and position as a trusted authority in high‑performance computing.
As this will be the first role of its kind at Puget Systems, it balances strategic ownership with heavy hands‑on execution, translating high‑level strategy into clear creative direction, scalable systems, and high‑quality assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE 30 days and ongoing- Learns Puget Systems’ products and services, processes, procedures, and purpose as well as its customers and its position in the industry.
- Gains familiarity with Puget Systems’ core product offerings and related components, and is able to ask questions of the right people when needed.
- Attends new hire orientation and engages with meet‑and‑greeting with all departments, acquiring knowledge about individual roles, understanding the organizational culture, workflow dynamics, overall business operations, and establishing initial connections for relationship‑building.
- Completes prerequisite training for new hires through the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Engages in a 30‑day check‑in with the Direct Manager, the People and Culture Manager, and the President to discuss progress, address concerns, and align on goals.
- Gains familiarity with Puget’s use of Click Up and Marketing‑specific Click Up templates.
- Focuses on relationship‑building in both the Marketing department and in other high‑touchpoint departments (Sales and Labs, especially).
- Shadows individuals in the department who will work most closely with this role.
- Familiarizes themselves with existing Puget assets and organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Establishes organizational structure of marketing assets.
- Reviews and coordinates existing backlog of creative projects in collaboration with Marketing Manager (projects like establishing a brand , creating sales resources, one‑pagers, refining company and product branding, etc.).
- Plans and executes on both design and videography work, including podcasts and short‑ and long‑form content.
- Collaborates with Marketing Manager to identify in‑house versus contractor needs, leaning into their strengths to complete deliverables.
- Identifies potential KPIs for this position; begins reporting upon them.
- Documents ongoing improvements and processes and publishes SOPs for others to follow.
- Creates and maintains templates within Clickup, actively manages projects within it; integrates their workflow within Marketing’s larger Clickup projects.
- Acts as first point of contact for all design decisions.
- Works closely with Marketing Supervisor to provide their team resources to execute their projects.
- Attends marketing, content strategy, and other recurring meetings as deemed beneficial.
- Attends select events (both to learn the industry via first‑hand experience, and to capture content)
- Identifies areas of opportunity to improve departmental processes or strategies.
- Maintains and iterates established processes for design work across the company.
- Proactively identifies areas of improvement and projects to pursue which further the Marketing team’s goals and strengthen Puget’s brand.
- Has established their videography and short‑form processes; executes upon them regularly.
- Contributes to the budgeting process, with the intent to lead future budget planning for their projects.
- Fully accountable for established KPIs.
- Assess performance of visual content to iterate and improve (e.g., A/B tests).
- 5+ years of experience in a creative role required
- 2+ years in a leadership role preferred
- Extensive experience with design programs required
- Extensive experience with video editing programs required
- Strong cross‑functional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment required
