Job Description & How to Apply Below

Organization Description: The League of Women Voters of Washington (LWVWA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to empowering voters and defending democracy. Since 1920, the League has educated voters, encouraged informed civic participation, and advocated for public policies that strengthen representative government. We are a trusted source of nonpartisan election information, civic education, and advocacy, serving communities across Washington through a statewide organization with 20 local Leagues with over 3100 members and volunteers.

We are part of the national League of Women Voters organization. The League does not support or oppose political parties or candidates. Instead, we work to ensure that every Washington resident has access to accurate information, meaningful opportunities to participate in our democracy, and a government that is accountable to the people it serves.

Role Description: The League of Women Voters seeks a mission-driven, highly organized Program Manager to lead our civic learning program based on the League-developed series of textbooks:
The State We’re In:
Washington (TSWI). The position manages all aspects of the program, including textbook promotion, sales and fulfillment, and new product development.

The Program Manager builds partnerships and connects with educators across the state to understand curriculum needs and ensure our books meet those needs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and skilled program and relationship manager who can work independently, while empowering a dedicated network of volunteers and partners.

The Civic Learning Manager reports to the Executive Director. This is a new position—part-time to start. May be expanded to full-time depending on program growth.
