PositionSummary
The System Resource Department at Multi Care Health System is designed to fill workforce gaps in long-term assignments systemwide. System Resource RNs support Multi Care adult hospitals and Freestanding EDs, filling a vital role utilizing the nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients to achieve quality outcomes. Guidance and supervision are based on leader‑ and self‑assessment to identify opportunities for skill enhancement.
System Resource RNs may serve multiple locations through filling workforce gaps across the health system in units where they have competencies. They provide a high level of clinical nursing care to assigned patients, performing related assessments, procedures and treatments, evaluations, patient‑care‑plan development/revisions, and education for patients and/or families. System Resource RNs put the patient first, ensuring that high‑quality care is given by following policies, clinical guidelines, safety systems such as medication scanning and bed‑alarm use, timely and accurate documentation, core‑measure compliance, and by serving as patient advocates.
They prioritize an exceptional patient/family experience.
