Registered Nurse (RN)
Pay Class:
Full-Time or Part-Time. Shift: Night Shift. Work Availability:

The Registered Nurse (RN) cares for ill, injured, or convalescing patients/residents or persons with disabilities in a skilled nursing setting. The RN assesses patient health problems and needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, advises patients/residents on health maintenance and disease prevention, and provides overall case management.
Key Responsibilities- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, modify, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Provide basic-to-advanced patient care or treatments, such as taking vitals, assessing for wound dressings, treating bedsores, giving enemas or douches, immunizations, and performing catheterizations.
- Administer medications and intravenous fluids and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
- Document and record resident observations and health-related information in electronic systems.
- Observe and supervise licensed practical nurses and nurses' aides or assistants to ensure proper nursing care delivery.
- Collect samples, such as blood, urine, or sputum from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
- As needed, measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration.
- As needed, care for residents by monitoring health status, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, assisting with mobility, and serving meals and snacks.
- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
- Communicate resident observations and health-related information to others in the care team, including coworkers, supervisors, third-party providers, and families.
- Learn and apply Company, Federal, State, and local rules, regulations, and policies.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
- Washington State Food Worker Card within 14 days of hire.
- CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to understand and communicate in the English language.
