Registered Nurse (RN)

Pay Class:
Full-Time or Part-Time. Shift: Night Shift. Work Availability:
Any day.

The Registered Nurse (RN) cares for ill, injured, or convalescing patients/residents or persons with disabilities in a skilled nursing setting. The RN assesses patient health problems and needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, advises patients/residents on health maintenance and disease prevention, and provides overall case management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, modify, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Provide basic-to-advanced patient care or treatments, such as taking vitals, assessing for wound dressings, treating bedsores, giving enemas or douches, immunizations, and performing catheterizations.
  • Administer medications and intravenous fluids and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
  • Document and record resident observations and health-related information in electronic systems.
  • Observe and supervise licensed practical nurses and nurses' aides or assistants to ensure proper nursing care delivery.
  • Collect samples, such as blood, urine, or sputum from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
  • As needed, measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration.
  • As needed, care for residents by monitoring health status, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, assisting with mobility, and serving meals and snacks.
  • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
  • Communicate resident observations and health-related information to others in the care team, including coworkers, supervisors, third-party providers, and families.
  • Learn and apply Company, Federal, State, and local rules, regulations, and policies.
Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
  • Washington State Food Worker Card within 14 days of hire.
  • CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in the English language.

Salary

Salary range: $43.24 to $62.10 per hour.
