Job Description:
This Registered Nurse role specializes in Labor & Delivery, offering an opportunity to work in a busy hospital setting with 20 beds, including dedicated L&D and postpartum areas. The schedule involves 12‑hour night shifts, providing a consistent routine for the duration of the assignment. You’ll be actively engaged in cervical exams, antepartum assessments, labor support, fetal monitoring, amnio infusions, epidurals, IV placements, Pitocin administration, and circulating C‑sections.
Baby catching and receiving, as well as evaluating APGAR scores, are core tasks. Experience with postpartum care from transition to discharge for both mom and newborn, along with breastfeeding support, is preferred. The role includes working within an Epic EMR environment, and multilingual skills (especially Russian or Spanish) are a plus. This assignment offers a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment perfect for a clinician comfortable with a variety of obstetric procedures and who enjoys the rhythm of night shifts.
