Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Auburn, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

• Provide comprehensive Labor & Delivery nursing care including cervical exams, antepartum monitoring, labor support, amnio infusions, epidural assistance, IV management, and Pitocin administration
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret findings throughout the course of patient care
• Circulate C-sections and participate in baby catching/receiving as required
• Conduct APGAR scoring and provide breastfeeding education and support
• Deliver post-partum care covering the full transition from delivery to discharge for both mother and baby
• Occasionally assist with scrub duties during sick call coverage when applicable

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Fetal monitoring certification required
• Must be comfortable with baby catching/receiving

• Proficiency with Epic EMR strongly preferred
• Comfort with all aspects of post-partum care from transition through discharge for mother and baby
• Scrub experience a plus
• Multilingual skills, particularly Russian or Spanish, preferred given the patient population served

• No call requirements — enjoy a predictable schedule with work-life balance
• Teal scrubs provided on-site; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
