Quality Assurance Rep - 3rd Shift; Weekends

Job Overview

thyssenkrupp Materials Services is the largest materials distributor and service provider in the western world. This role focuses on quality assurance within our manufacturing plants.

Oversees compliance with quality management system policies and procedures, manages material in the "Material Review Bay," and serves as a trainer on quality system documents.

• Document and data control oversight; ownership and maintenance of measurement devices.
• Corrective and preventive actions and their follow-ups.
• Oversight of quality records held in Plant.
• Process auditing for compliance to procedures.
• Implementation of statistical control of equipment and processes.
• Accurate information and timely processing of non-conforming material.
• Act as trainer on quality department documents.
• Ensure proper records are maintained for gauges, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs, etc.
• Meet TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail in accordance with the Quality Management System.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers.
• Desire for additional formal training in quality systems.

Preferred Requirements:

• ASQ certification.
• 3+ years of Quality Assurance/Control experience.
• Experience or training in ISO
  9001:2015 or AS9100 quality standards.

Pay range: $23.81 – $28.15 per hour.
