What you will do:
Always maintain a professional demeanor and epitomize the company’s Core Values Always contribute to the efforts of the branch.
Establish target list of accounts and goals for each account.
Establish a working relationship with regular customers.
Maintain a reasonable minimum per month in sales after the training period.
Deliver accurate order processing and appropriate customer follow-up.
Maintain customer contact information in an organized manner, such as in a data base.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
Customer Service:
Communicate by phone and in person with wholesale customers to assist them in their plumbing purchases.
Coordinate with appropriate branches as needed to service the customers.
Provide complete quotes for customers as needed, submittals, O&M’s, etc.
Multi-task and meet established deadlines.
Proactively identify issues and present options for solutions to resolve conflicts and disputes.
Acceptable driving record.
Work with a wide variety of people having different personalities and backgrounds.
Operate in a drug-free workplace.
Knowledge of plumbing products and supplies helpful.
Follow through on all areas of responsibility.
Who we are looking for:
Prior knowledge of industry and plumbing products and supplies.
Must be a self-starter that enjoys making “cold” calls.
Effective organization and prioritization skills
Ability to proactively identify issues and present options for solutions to resolve conflicts and disputes.
Ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines.
Ability to effectively work as a part of a team.
Three to five years Sales Experience in dealing with customers and selling products.
Excellent PC skills, especially with respect to Excel, Word and Internet Effective written and verbal communication skills
Excellent math skills and aptitude with a high level of attention to detail
