Security Officer Part Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Auburn, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. Your primary duties include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, staying visible to deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming experience through strong customer service and communication.

• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, high‑traffic areas, and/or designated locations for suspicious behavior, policy violations, or other security‑related issues, and communicate with local authorities when needed.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious incidents, and following post orders related to retail and mall operations.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
