Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities.
Key Accountabilities- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs
- Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility
- Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area
- Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs
- Coordinate and make recommendations on work‑related contracts and services
- Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance
- Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements
- This is a Safety Sensitive role, the company is dedicated to the safety of all employees, and we are looking for candidates that are safety oriented to join our team.
- Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude
- 3‑5 years experience in an industrial, maintenance environment
- College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
$29.00 - $36.13 per hour
