Road Mechanic

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Road Mechanic/technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment, primarily Aerial Work Platforms, construction tools, and specialty lines such as generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas equipment.

• Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations.

• Preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to avoid downtime.
• Provide mechanic's tools of trade as needed.
• Use hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment) strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; 21 years of age & CDL license may be required in some locations.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

• Proficiency with hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to use mechanic's tools of trade.

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range: $27.65 - $38.02 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and/or experience.
