Description Position Summary
As an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with PLC experience who enjoys solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.
Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, electrical controls, motors, and production equipment.
Troubleshoot and maintain:
GE PLCs
PLCs
Variable frequency AC and DC drives
Motor controls
Power distribution systems
Industrial lighting
Transmitters
Control valves
Read and interpret electrical schematics, instrumentation drawings, maintenance manuals, and safety procedures.
Work safely around electrical power distribution, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies, including required PPE.
Perform work from ladders and mobile lifts when necessary.
Support preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Minimum of one year of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical controls, industrial automation, mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read electrical and instrumentation schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
