HVAC Journeyman Installation

Cool Sys is seeking an HVAC Journeyman Installer to support construction projects across commercial and industrial sites. In this field-based role, you'll install and start up HVAC and refrigeration equipment, ductwork, and piping to deliver efficient, reliable systems for our customers. You will read blueprints, lay out and route materials, set and secure units, and verify performance with testing tools. Working in a safety-first, team-focused culture, you'll mentor apprentices, solve field challenges, and grow your skills with advanced HVAC-R and energy-efficient technologies.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and start up commercial and industrial HVAC systems per plans and specs
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Measure, cut, and fit ductwork, piping, and refrigeration lines
• Perform equipment mounting, setting, rigging, and sealing for leak-free systems
• Use testing instruments to verify system performance and safety
• Follow Cool
• Sys safety procedures, codes, and OSHA regulations on job sites
• Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and apprentices to meet project timelines
• Document work, materials used, and startup readings accurately
• Troubleshoot basic installation and startup issues
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and work areas in clean, safe condition
