Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Social Worker role located in Auburn, WA. The Social Worker will collaborate with first responders and community resources to provide support and assistance to individuals and families. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, coordinating care plans, connecting clients to community resources, and providing crisis intervention services. The Social Worker will also engage in community outreach efforts, advocate for individuals in need, and maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.
Qualifications- Strong skills in crisis intervention, case management, and conducting comprehensive assessments
- Proficiency in building relationships with clients, active listening, and emotional intelligence
- Knowledge of community resources, social service programs, and systems of care
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, including first responders and healthcare providers
- Organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency in maintaining detailed records
- Commitment to serving diverse populations with empathy and professionalism
- Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field
- Experience working in emergency service settings preferred
