Portable Storage Delivery Driver; CDL

Compensation Range: $26.00 to $28.00 Hourly

You will be a U-Haul U-Box Customer Care Representative (CCR) and local delivery driver. Your primary role is to operate and service U‑Box containers, ensuring customers receive friendly and courteous service.

• Operate a flatbed truck (training provided)
• Operate an 8000‑lb propane forklift or truck‑mounted forklift (training provided)
• Load and unload storage containers for delivery
• Transport storage containers to and from specified destinations, including customers’ homes and businesses (local routes only)
• Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University

• Clean motor vehicle driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Department of Transportation certification
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL)

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes or chemicals. Protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields may be required.

Requires physical exertion, including long periods of standing both indoors and outdoors, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
