Part Time - FedEx Delivery Driver - WEEKEND at Route Elite Auburn, WA

Job Overview

Part Time Saturday & Sunday only role delivering packages for Fed Ex. You will cover 100 to 160 stops daily, mainly within the University of Washington area, starting and ending at the Auburn, WA Fed Ex terminal.

Training rate: $150 per day for 1 to 2 weeks. Non‑training pay: higher of $200 per day or $1.70 per stop (gross pay).

Hours:

6 to 10 hours per day. Work is consistent with a brand‑new delivery truck and GPS‑mapped stops. The role requires navigating traffic between Auburn and the University of Washington area and involves physical demands. The truck will be brand new, and hours are consistent.

• Operate vehicle safely at all times.
• Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences, with an expectation of up to 150 stops a day.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, checking fluid levels.
• Load vehicle and organize daily loads.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with the manager.
• Accurately operate scanner and track delivery process.
• Ensure accurate disposition of package deliveries and pickups.
• Consistently complete the entire route in a timely manner.

• At least 21 years of age; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with ongoing random drug screens.
• Pass a DOT physical examination.
• Be able to lift or carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck.
• Pass Fed Ex Ground criminal background check.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work and be on time and ready to work each workday.
• Be able to climb stairs.
• Be able to work in all types of weather.
• Have a strong work ethic and a get‑it‑done attitude.
• Work‑related driving experience (e.g., local driver, route driver, truck driver, courier, pick‑up driver, delivery driver) is a plus.
