CDL A Truck Driver

Job Description

Driver will be expected to transport and deliver our windows and doors to dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a tractor‑trailer. This position requires safe driving, top‑notch customer service, and the ability to perform over‑the‑road deliveries.

• Deliver assigned locations using a tractor‑trailer for single and multi‑drop deliveries.
• Be willing to spend 1–3 nights on the road; local routes are available.
• Assist with loading and unloading of windows and doors at customer sites or for returns.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors of varying weights.
• Drive the truck in accordance with federal regulations.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and maneuver in heavy traffic, inclement weather, or tight loading dock areas.
• Maintain required records (driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage, etc.) for state and federal compliance.
• Perform all duties in line with company policies and mandating mandatory compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Answer questions about packing lists, invoices, packaging, and material content; if cannot, direct to appropriate contact.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid Class A CDL license, clean MVR, and current medical card.
• Two years commercial truck driving experience (or equivalent military DD214 experience).
• Prior construction field experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously above shoulder height or below waist.
• Time‑management and planning skills.
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions.
• Experience driving on commercial/residential construction job sites.

Base pay starting at $39.00 per hour to $44.00 per hour, plus medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day one. Additional benefits include 401(k) plan, PTO, paid holidays, FSA, life insurance, LTD, STD, EAP, discount programs, tuition reimbursement, training, and professional development.
