Material Handler – $21.70/hr | Auburn, WA | Day Shifts

We are hiring a reliable Material Handler to support inventory accuracy and material movement for a major aerospace raw-material supplier in Auburn, WA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values precision, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and side-loader forklifts
• Perform inventory control, cycle counts, and accurate data entry
• Load and unload raw metal materials manually and with forklifts
• Receive materials from other branches and mills
• Move materials from stock to processing to support production
• Maintain accurate inventory tags and documentation
• Consolidate materials and support supermarket operations
• Identify shortages and communicate with appropriate teams
• Assist with scrap verification and quality-related tasks
• Perform equipment maintenance and general cleanup

Required Skills

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift
• Strong attendance and consistent work history
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Preferred Skills

• Warehouse experience
• Inventory control and cycle counting
• Computer proficiency

Work Environment & Shifts

Large aerospace raw-material facility in Auburn, WA.

Available shifts include:

• 1st Shift: 4am–2:30pm, Mon–Thu (4 openings) – $21.70/hr
• 1st Shift: 4am–12:30pm, Mon–Fri (1 opening) – $21.70/hr
• 3rd Shift: 4am–4:30pm, Fri–Sun (1 opening) – $21.70/hr
• 3rd Shift: 4am–2:30pm, Fri–Mon (1 opening) – $21.70/hr

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $24.50/hr.
