Job Type: Full‑time.
Key Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:- Patrols property daily to identify areas in need of cleaning and completes required work—remove trash/debris from property grounds and common areas, keep the dumpster area clean, and vacuum, sweep and mop common areas.
- Restores vacated apartments to move‑in condition for new residents—clean appliances, kitchen cabinets, sink and floors, bathroom—including toilet, tub, sink and floor, windows, front door, and performs touch‑up painting as necessary.
- Completes janitorial requirements in accordance with the janitorial schedule.
- Performs grounds maintenance, including weed removal, grass‑cutting and planting.
- Cleans property office as necessary—empty trash, vacuum carpets, clean bathroom and kitchen.
- Coordinates snow and leaf removal from property—sidewalks, walkways, steps and driveways/parking spaces.
- Assists maintenance technicians in performing preventive maintenance, capital improvements or satisfying work orders as needed.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of general maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations is preferred.
- Must be able to work a flex schedule and be on‑call for emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Requires the ability to read, speak and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to follow direction and work independently.
- Troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, action‑oriented environment.
- ANSI approved steel‑toe/composite shoes.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Willing to assist with other properties within the portfolio and surrounding portfolios as needed.
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
