Staff Accountant

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant in Augusta, Georgia.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to key financial operations, including month-end processes and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy while working collaboratively on accounting tasks.

+ Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close

+ Assist with account reconciliations and month-end reporting

+ Support internal financial documentation and audit requests

+ Assist with accounts receivable activities

+ Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

+ Strong proficiency in Excel

+ Ability to multitask, learn quickly, and cross-train across accounting functions

+ High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills

+ Clear written and verbal communication skills
