Position Overview

MCI is a fast‑growing tech‑enabled business services company offering Customer Experience, BPO, and XaaS solutions across many industries.

We seek a detail‑oriented Manager of Accounting to oversee daily accounting operations for the Market Force team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Position Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day accounting functions for Market Force, including general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Supervise and develop a team of accountants, ensuring timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and variance analyses.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, GAAP/IFRS, and audit requirements.
  • Monitor and improve accounting processes and systems to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
  • Assist in implementing new accounting standards, process improvements, and technology tools.
  • Ensure data consistency, reporting accuracy, and clear documentation across all financial records.
  • Support the Director of Accounting with strategic initiatives, special projects, and ad‑hoc reporting.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in a BPO, shared services, or multinational business environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Physical Requirements

The role is largely sedentary, requiring sitting/standing and use of a computer and telephone headset. Occasional light lifting up to 40 pounds may be required.

Conditions of Employment

  • Must be willing to submit to a Level II background check and/or security investigation with fingerprinting; job offer contingent on results.
