Job Description

Express Employment Professionals seeks a reliable, accurate, and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to assist with our basic bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping needs.

This position may be a great fit for an experienced bookkeeper looking for flexible, supplemental work.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Verify that financial transactions are recorded accurately and properly categorized
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
• Bring the books through the trial balance stage
• Perform partial checks of the posting process to ensure accuracy
• Enter and maintain accounting data in Quick Books
• Review financial records and identify discrepancies when necessary
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Strong working knowledge
• Experience with Quick Books
• Ability to accurately calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Strong data-entry skills and comfort working with numbers
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines
• Pass background and drug screening
