Qualifications- Education:
H.S. Diploma or GED or equivalent (Required). Bachelor's Degree in related field (Preferred). - Experience:
3 years in an office/clerical environment (Required). Experience in information management (Preferred). - License/Certification:
None Required. - Skills:
- Excellent communication, tactful and professional.
- Independent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving.
- Follow oral and written instructions quickly and accurately.
- Work well with school personnel.
- Detect and correct errors in standard English usage.
- Proficient keyboard and typing skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to learn new software applications.
- Strong editing, formatting, graphics, and proofreading skills.

- Physical Demands:

- Perform general secretarial and clerical duties in the IT Solutions and Design Department.
- Assist with accurate financial/accounting records for the budget.
- Assist with work orders and/or purchase orders.
- Transcribe reports, forms, memos, letters.
- File correspondence, reports, forms, publications.
- Compile and prepare data for budget, staff meetings, conferences.
- Maintain adequate supplies.
- Schedule, cancel, reschedule meetings, conferences, appointments.
- Reserve building or online conference rooms.
- Communicate in a businesslike, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Cooperate with and maintain positive relationships with other employees and school system employees.
- Provide exemplary customer service.
- Maintain familiarity with IT Solutions and Design office functions.
- Act as liaison between all IT Solutions and Design offices.
- Direct personnel seeking assistance to the appropriate party.
- Assist in maintaining maintenance agreements, warranty expirations, inventory listings of equipment.
- Assist in maintaining budget account balances.
- Assist with receiving and logging hardware and software.
- Establish and maintain knowledge of district policies and procedures related to IT Solutions and Design.
- Maintain vendor contacts for equipment pricing and availability.
- Attend staff meetings and take detailed notes.
- Assist with receiving leave data for IT Solutions and Design employees.
- Assist in meeting preparations.
