Join Main Street Auto as a Service Advisor in many parts of Georgia. The role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, serving as the primary point of contact for customers, managing vehicle maintenance and repair needs, and ensuring a positive experience.
Hours7:00 AM–5:00 PM (Monday‑Friday)
Salary$90‑120 k annually.
Responsibilities- Greet customers and provide a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere.
- Act as the main point of contact, understanding concerns and requirements.
- Listen actively, document accurately, and communicate to service technicians.
- Schedule and confirm service appointments, ensuring efficient use of technicians' time.
- Consult with customers to gather vehicle history, symptoms, and requested services.
- Advise customers on suitable services and maintenance schedules.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for parts, labor, and additional services.
- Explain estimates to customers with clear explanations.
- Obtain customer approval for repairs, ensuring transparency.
- Create and manage repair orders, documenting all services, parts, and recommendations.
- Maintain up‑to‑date service records for compliance.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion.
- Follow up to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
- Handle complaints professionally and resolve them effectively.
- Strive to exceed expectations with personalized service.
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional automotive education or certification is a plus).
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Sound technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with automotive software.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Customer‑oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
