Overview
Imagery Intelligence Analysis SME – With cloud-based tools, faster GPUs, and an explosion of connected devices, geospatial data has more potential than ever. As a geospatial and remote sensing analyst at Booz Allen, you’ll work with a team of analysts to extract meaning and context from a variety of data sources, using tools such as SOCET GXP, iSpy, and other satellite and airborne remote‑sensing solutions.
You’ll analyze data to assess meaning and potential intent, produce formal reports, and support decision‑makers in areas such as infrastructure, topography, human geography, and intelligence.
• Extract and interpret data from a variety of geospatial sources to generate actionable intelligence.
• Develop new methods to identify patterns and connections to answer Army needs.
• Use satellite and airborne remote‑sensing solutions to analyze and produce geospatial solutions.
• Produce formal reports to ensure timely information for decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with GEOINT analysts to deconstruct problems and develop effective analysis and collection approaches.
- Experience in the application of space‑based GEOINT.
- Proficiency with photogrammetric principles, techniques, and analytic modeling.
- Experience conducting Foundational Military Intelligence analysis and baseline reporting.
- Experience with object‑based production (OBP), structured observation management (SOM), and activity‑based intelligence (ABI).
- Knowledge of U.S. government and commercial satellite capabilities, including tasking and collection processes.
- Knowledge of GEOINT policies (GEOINT Army, National System for GEOINT, IC).
- Knowledge of GEOINT software (Remote View, SOCET GXP, ArcGIS).
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- Bachelor’s degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, or Geography + 15+ years of intelligence analysis experience, or Master’s degree + 10+ years, or Doctorate + 5+ years.
- Experience with commercial visualization software.
- Experience with non‑traditional GEOINT data sources.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with data analytics and COTS statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, or MATLAB.
- Ability to collaborate with partners across the IC and DoD.
- Ability to present intelligence information via multimedia presentations and written reports.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph (GPC-II) and imagery certification clearance.
Active TS/SCI clearance is required. Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for classified access; a polygraph examination will be required.
Compensation$77,500.00 to $ annualized USD. Salary is based on location, education, skills, and experience.
