Superintendent - Commercial

Job Description

Insight Global is currently seeking a Superintendent to join a client in the construction industry. This individual is responsible for supervising all installation activities from project start through completion, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The Superintendent will supervise and mentor field employees while coordinating closely with general contractors, project managers, and branch managers to manage manpower, production, and resources.

This role includes performing job checks, completing detailed daily reports with photo documentation, and accurately tracking labor using construction management platforms (Autodesk and Procore). The Superintendent will lead job‑site safety programs, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Additional responsibilities include managing material deliveries, approving payroll hours, addressing punch list and quality issues, and providing regular progress updates to leadership.

• 7-10+ years of experience in construction or related field, including prior field experience
• Superintendent & leadership experience overseeing crews and job sites
• OSHA 30 certification
• Strong daily reporting, photo documentation, and labor tracking discipline
• Experience utilizing construction management platforms such as Autodesk (Construction Cloud/BIM 360) and Procore for daily logs, photos, RFIs, and labor tracking
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and supervise crews and subcontractors
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and maintain confidentiality
• Willingness to travel when required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Business
• Certificate in general construction
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification
